GOOD LOVELIES - TAKE ME, TAKE ME
This was one of those projects that had a tiny budget, but so much promise. The band gave me total freedom to create whatever I wanted with their surf-pop opus. Due to budget constraints, I knew I had to keep to contained, but I didn’t want it to feel small. With a tiny crew, crammed into a tinier studio, we shot the band doing various actions, dances, and flailing their arms wildly on a couple of beat up green boxes, probably wondering what in the hell it was all about. Once shooting was complete, I was a one man band, editing, animating, colouring, designing the entire piece (with a pinch of help on the liquid animations!). The whole thing took about 5 days from start to finish (filming included). It was a marathon, but a satisfying one to race.

I pulled… so many of the duties on this one, acting as Director, Editor, Animator, Designer & Colourist… I’m still kinda tired.
